Mossel Bay Golf Club - Six years ago the Mossel Bay golf course was redesigned and renamed the Mossel Bay Golf Estate and Nature Reserve. Famed for having a view of the Indian Ocean from every tee, this 18-hole links-style course, with its large undulating greens, makes for an idyllic yet challenging round of golf. The golf club was founded in 1905 and the golf course relocated to its present position in 1924. Guest at the Mossel Bay Golf Lodge qualify for special tariffs to play a round of golf. The Bartolomeu Dias Museum Complex in the centre of town consists of various museum and sites of interest such as the Granary, the Shell Museum and Aquarium, the Maritime Museum, the Culture Museum, the Spring, the Indigenous Garden, the Padrao - and without doubt the most well known historical feature within this Complex - the Old Post Office Tree.
